Rich Hardy on Sunset Falls on the EF Lewis

Rich grew up, and learned to kayak, with my roommate Mike Gottlieb. He came out for his first adventure trip to the West Coast this May and had a blast. We hit some of the ultra-classic Portland-area creeks – Canyon Creek, Opal Creek and Rock Creek. Rich and Mike also took a trip out to the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. A pretty damn good week of vacation!

I took these photos of Rich and Mike when we rolled over to the EF Lewis as light was fading for the day.
